Al-Ahly player Akram Tawfiq rejected the offer made to him to renew his contract, amid Pyramids’ interest in contracting with him in the upcoming summer transfer period.
Al-Ahly club recently began negotiating with Akram Tawfiq, the team’s midfielder, to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the current season.
The sources said that Akram Tawfiq rejected a new offer from Al-Ahly officials to renew his contract in exchange for receiving the team’s second category salary, amounting to 11 million pounds per season.
Akram Tawfiq stipulates that he receive the team’s first-class salary, which amounts to 16 million pounds, and that he be granted a commercial contract of the same value during the season, through his participation in advertising campaigns.
