A fiery comment from Schubert on Jose Gomez's statement

Former Al-Ahly star Ahmed Schubert commented on Jose Gomez's statement after his departure from coaching Zamalek.

Schubert said in radio statements on “On Sport FM”: “Gomez, walk away and there is no anger from the audience. Zamalek fans love this coach for several reasons. The first of which was winning the African Super Championship at the expense of Al-Ahly club, until the Egypt Cup match, which Zamalek lost 2-0. The audience was happy with the performance, but it beat Al-Ahly in the league, and it also won the championship with Zamalek. Confederation".

He continued: “Gomez said in his statement (I feel that the appropriate conditions to continue bringing titles to our fans are not available). He saw the popularity of the Zamalek club and the fans’ love for the club, so he must be responsible, as he sees that the conditions are not appropriate.”

Schubert explained: “Let's talk a little frankly, let's not bury our brains in the sand. Gomez has a problem with capabilities and renewing players' contracts, and he has a problem with receiving his salary and a problem with players' dues.
