Al-Ahly doctor: Mustafa Schubert will return to participate at the end of December
Ahmed Gaballah, Al-Ahly club doctor, revealed the latest developments on the injuries of the quartet, Mustafa Schubert, Karim Fouad, Ali Maaloul, and Mohamed Hani, which they suffered during the last period.
Ahmed Jaballah said in television statements: “Mustafa Schubert is suffering from a second-degree strain in the posterior muscle. He had x-rays and things are improving and he will be ready to participate with the team.” After Al-Ahly club returns from Qatar to compete in the Intercontinental semi-finals and its presence in the tournament is a decision in the hands of the coach and goalkeeper, which may be available at the end of this December.”
The club doctor continued: “Ali Maaloul is going through the final stage of rehabilitation, and his program is going seriously. We are just waiting for the physical measurements before he gradually participates in the training.”
He explained: “The duo, Karim Fouad and Mohamed Hani, returned from Austria after a period of rehabilitation, and their measurements are good and they are working well, but Mohamed Hani will be closer to returning than Karim Fouad.”
He continued: “Karim Fouad will be available to participate with the team during next April or May.”
He concluded: “Karim Fouad suffered a cruciate ligament tear for the second time in the second foot and not in the site of the previous injury, because when the injury is in the same foot it is very difficult.”
He concluded: “Ashraf Dari was injured with the Moroccan national team during the break, but he is now ready to participate with the team.”
