English referee David Coote suspended
The PGMOL refereeing body in the English Premier League dismissed referee David Coote, after a “comprehensive investigation” into his behaviour.
Coote, 42, was suspended. Years old, on November 11, after a video clip allegedly appeared in which he made insulting comments about Liverpool and the club’s former manager Jurgen Klopp was circulated on social media.

The Professional Referees Committee took its first action against Cote on November 11 after a video was released on social media, which allegedly showed his criticism of Liverpool and their former manager Klopp, And directing obscene words against them.
The video that spread recently dates back to a match that Cote officiated between Liverpool and Burnley in July 2020, which ended in a draw. 1-1.
Club criticized Kot after the match, saying that the referee failed to call fouls in favor of Liverpool players.
