4 players are not included in Al-Ahly’s roster for the Intercontinental Championship
Al-Ahly’s roster for the semi-final match of the Intercontinental World Cup includes 4 confirmed absences due to injury.
Al-Ahly, on its trip to Qatar, misses the services of the quartet; Goalkeeper Mustafa Schubert, Mohamed Hani, Ali Maaloul, and player Karim Fouad suffered from various injuries.
Goalkeeper Mustafa Schubert suffered a strain in his posterior muscle, while Mohamed Hani suffered from a torn cruciate ligament, and Ali Maaloul is still rehabilitating from a torn Achilles tendon.
While Karim Fouad continues his rehabilitation program from a torn cruciate ligament, he still has a long time to return to training.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly defeated Al-Ain, UAE, with a score of 3-0, to be crowned champion of the three continents (Asia, Africa and the Pacific) and reach the next round of the Intercontinental Championship.
