Pyramids negotiations with Walid Al Karti to renew his contract

Khaled El-Ghandour, the former Zamalek star, spoke about a condition that hinders the renewal of Pyramids star Walid El Karti’s contract with his club.

Ghandour said on the “Mehwar Stadium” program: “The Pyramids Club has already begun the steps to renew Walid Karti with the team.”

He added: “The current crisis is that Walid Al-Karti receives one million and 200 thousand dollars per season, which represents the only obstacle facing club officials in the process of renewing the player’s contract.” .

He continued: “Pyramids is trying to convince Karti to renew his contract with the same current contract, which is one million and 200 thousand dollars, and if he agrees, it will be renewed.” .

He continued: “But if he refuses and asks for an increase in his new contract, the club may not renew him.”

Al-Ghandour concluded: “Walid Al-Karti’s contract with the Pyramids Club expires at the end of the current season, June 2025, and he has the right to sign for any club starting next January.”
