Al-Ahly requests the postponement of the Enppi match and explains its reasons
The Board of Directors of Al-Ahly Club sent an official letter to the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association, requesting that its match against Enppi, in the Egyptian Club League Cup Championship, be postponed.
The letter included Al-Ahly, the emergency circumstances that resulted in the necessity of Al-Ahmar’s delegation traveling to Qatar on December 10; To participate in the Intercontinental Club Championship.
This came in compliance with the tournament regulations and in implementation of the obligations approved by FIFA before the Al-Ahly match scheduled for December 14th with the winner of Pachuca of Mexico and Botafogo of Brazil.
Al-Ahly stressed, in the letter, that the travel date that was set due to emergency circumstances conflicts with Al-Ahly’s first match in the League Cup, which was scheduled for the same day.
Therefore, Al-Ahly requests the support of the Professional Clubs Association and the postponement of its match in the League Cup on December 10; Due to the club's desire and keenness to participate in the tournament.
