Kohler: Things will not be easy in the World Cup

Marcel Kohler, Al-Ahly club’s technical director, stressed the necessity of scoring against Orlando, South Africa, in the second match in Cairo and achieving victory.

Kohler said in press statements after the match: “A tough match and both teams missed many opportunities. We wanted to win the match today, but in the end we return to Cairo with a point.”

He added: “The weather in Cairo is currently in the winter and cold phase, but today the weather was different. Despite that, we adapted and played with the usual performance.”

When asked about the Al-Ahly group in the 2025 Club World Cup, he replied, saying: “Things will never be easy, and there is still enough time to talk about this matter. The group appears as if it is easy, but "It's not right."

He continued: “We will face a Brazilian team and a European team, and Inter Miami is the host of the tournament, and any African team faces very difficulties when it faces a team from Europe or Latin America.”
