Al-Nujoom: The Football Association is circumventing the regulations
The Stars Club issued an official statement regarding its crisis with the Egyptian Football Association, which accused it of complimenting the Pyramids Club and trying to enable it to obtain a license to participate in the African Championship without right.

He pointed out that his objection is based on the fact that the Pyramids Club had followed the grievance procedures before an incompetent committee, and the grievance should have been before the International Court of Sport (CAS) in accordance with the regulations of the Federation’s statute.

Despite the delay in implementing the decision since its issuance on June 22, 2023 (equivalent to 370 days), the Union continued to be courteous to the Pyramids Club by issuing the decision on June 27, 2024 and handed it over to the Stars Club on 1 July 2024 for the purpose of enabling the Pyramids Club to obtain the license unlawfully through procrastination and buying time so that the Stars Club’s right to its just demand to suspend the Pyramids Club’s license from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is lost.

The Stars Club expressed its deep regret over the Egyptian Football Association’s circumvention of the regulations to please the Pyramids Club in order to gain time and delay the issuance of the decision by the Stars Club until the Pyramids Club obtains the license to participate in the African Championship.
