Mokoena: We had a good match against Olympique Safi

Wydad Athletic Club coach Rulani Mokwena expressed his happiness with the victory his team achieved yesterday against Olympique Safi.

Wydad won yesterday over its counterpart Olympique Safi with a clean goal in a match in the 12th round of the Moroccan League.

Mokoena said during the press conference after the match: “First of all, I would like to congratulate all the players. I followed the statistics for the confrontation and I think we are good.” .

He added: “I followed Olympique Safi’s past matches, against the group of championship clubs, and from that I learned that they are a good team and have good players.” .

He continued: “We had to control their pressure during today’s match, and disrupt their attacks, so I asked the players to play long balls.”

He concluded: “We played a good match, even though we struggled at times. I am proud of the players, and I also thank the fans who constantly motivate us from the stands.”
