Schubert: Imam Ashour performed with Al-Ahly 60% of the performance expected of him
Former Al-Ahly star Ahmed Schubert confirmed that the Imam Ashour deal was successful.
Schubert said during his interview on the “Sara Ink” program broadcast on Al-Qahira wa Al-Nas channel: “His goal-making, goal-scoring, and influential shots are very clear, and I can blame him for one thing in performing with the national team.”
He added that Imam Ashour delivered 60% of the performance expected of him. Al-Ahly and there is still a lot to come.
He continued: “I blame him in the national team, and a player like this should be.” He is essential in the Egyptian national team because in the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 26th World Cup.
He added: “Imam Ashour must see the mistakes and correct them and be present in the national team, and losing a player of his size is not as essential as he was successful with Al-Ahly.”
