Jesus: There are doubts about the readiness of some Al Hilal players to face Al Sadd

Portuguese Jorge Jesus, coach of Al Hilal, said that his club did not have enough time to prepare to face Al Sadd tomorrow in the fifth round of the AFC Elite Champions League.

Jesus said in the press conference: “We have doubts about the readiness of some players after their return from participating with their country’s national teams and the current pressure, and we will see today about their participation, because the pressure on them may cause injuries.”

He added: “It is true that we did not achieve victory in the Gulf match, but the team is not affected by the absence of any player, and the players who returned from their country’s teams were exhausted due to travel.”

He continued:” I do not see a rivalry between the Saudi and Qatari leagues, and our loss came after 18 months in which the team did not lose locally, and there is no comparison between Al Hilal and Al Sadd.”

He continued: “We did not have Sufficient time to prepare for a match Al Sadd, but I am sure that we will perform excellently because we have the capabilities that will help us achieve a positive result.”

He concluded: “I decided to return to Riyadh after the Gulf match because of the availability of recovery tools in our stadium and then prepare well to face Al-Sadd.”
