According to what was published by the “TEAMtalk” website. After a previous offer from Manchester United to include Koundé in the summer was rejected, new reports indicate that they are not close to obtaining Barcelona’s approval for the departure of the French defender.

The website reported that the technical director of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, is very interested in signing a right-back, and believes that Kounde is well suited for this position, and it is also said that United made an offer worth 68 million euros in order to persuade Barcelona to complete the deal.

But the Catalan club rejected the offer again, as Kounde is now considered a mainstay and an indispensable part of the team of the German coach, Hansi Flick.
