The truth about Imam Ashour’s departure from Al-Ahly’s ranks
The journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour spoke about the position of Imam Ashour, the Al-Ahly star, on leaving the ranks of the red team in the coming period.
Al-Ghandour said during his program “Al-Ahly Stadium”: “We contacted officials at Al-Ahly Club and asked about the fact that there was an offer for Imam Ashour from Turkey or any European team.”
He continued: “The response came that there were no offers to include Imam Ashour, whether from Turkey or any European club.”
He added: “We asked: Is it possible that if there is an offer during the coming period, would we be thinking about it? The response was that there is no intention to even think about Imam Ashour’s departure, on the part of the football company, the technical staff, or the player personally.”
