Al-Aqidi appears in Al-Nasr training after an absence

Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Al-Nasr goalkeeper, appeared in Al-Asmi team’s training on Monday, after fully recovering from his injury.

The sources said that Nawaf Al-Aqidi was present in Al-Nasr’s preparations today after being absent from the back injury he suffered last October.

Reports indicated that Al-Nasr coach Pioli is working to prepare Al-Aqidi during the current suspension period, in anticipation of a repeated delay in the return of first-choice goalkeeper Matheus Pinto, who is currently with the Brazilian national team.

Pinto returns to Al-Nasr on the night of the Al-Qadisiyah match, in the 11th round of the Saudi Roshan League, which will be held on Friday, November 22.

Pioli wants to be reassured about the level and readiness of Al-Aqidi, who has been absent from participation for 316 days, as the last match he played was against Al-Taawoun on December 30 last.
