Deschamps defends the France national team before facing Italy
The coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, made important statements, before the match against the Italian national team, in the European Nations League competitions.
Deschamps said in the press conference : “It is disappointing not to score after a performance like this, where we created a lot, but it is not the first time this has happened to us. We did not score in the previous match, but we had many opportunities to do so.”

He continued his speech in defense of the French team: “We are in second place in the FIFA world rankings, and we played the European Nations League with many young players who lack experience, so naturally that must take precedence over the result, but it remains that we reached the semi-finals of the European Nations Cup.”
Regarding returning to San Siro, he said: “I am always happy to return to Italy. I spent wonderful years there as a player and as a coach, but now I am happy where I am.”

It is noteworthy that the two elected teams reserved their places in The quarter-finals of the European Nations League. However, the winner of this match will be the first seed in the draw for the next stage of the tournament, and a draw will be enough for the Italian national team to achieve this goal.
