
Adam Zarqan, the Algerian national team midfielder, spoke about the reason for the draw against Equatorial Guinea yesterday, Thursday, in a match within the fifth round of the European Cup qualifiers. African Nations 2025.
Zarqan said in statements to the media today, Friday: “Unfortunately, we did not... We showed our usual level against Equatorial Guinea, and we did not possess much, given several reasons, most notably the climate, the conditions of the match, and the level of the opponent who is good at negotiating on his field.”
He added: “The players gave what they had to do on the field and did their duty to the fullest, and we will try to make amends in our next matches, starting with the confrontation. Liberia, the day after tomorrow, Sunday.”
He concluded: “Our goal in our last match in the qualifiers will be to entertain our fans, and I hope that the match will live up to the aspirations of our fans.”
