The former Zamalek star reveals a surprise regarding Zizou

Ahmed Dowidar, the former Zamalek star, revealed a surprise regarding the crisis of Ahmed Sayed Zizo’s renewal with Al-Abyad.

Ahmed Dowidar said on MBC Misr: “Zizou is an indispensable player in the Zamalek club and an influential player, but when you measure it by asking for his money in dollars, this is not a good thing.”

He added: “This is the truth. Zizou asked for his money in dollars, and I have information from inside the club. Zizou’s father sat with a member of the Zamalek board of directors and said, ‘If you bring a professional player in Zizou’s place, how much will you get him?’”

He continued: “The question here is whether Zamalek will be able to pay 90 million pounds for the renewal with Ahmed Sayed Zizo, and also why do we sit for wasted time? Why did we not renew a year ago when the crisis had already resolved itself? Back in the day."

The player's contract with Zamalek expires next summer and he has the right to sign with any club next January.
