Barcelona determines its position on signing Diogo Costa
Barcelona sporting director, Deco, revealed the truth about the club's attempts to sign a new goalkeeper during the coming period.
Deco said in statements carried by the famous journalist Fabrizio Romano: “Alonging a new goalkeeper? No, our priority is Ter Stegen, who has a contract with Barcelona that extends until the next three years.
Sporting director Deco confirmed that he would not sign a contract. With any goalkeeper to succeed Ter Stegen, saying: “We will not contract with anyone to replace Ter Stegen.”
He continued: “If I were in Diogo Costa’s place, I am not sure. “I will move to Barcelona to be a substitute. We are not working on signing him.”
The value of the 25-year-old Portuguese goalkeeper is estimated by his current club, Porto, at 40 million euros. .
