Kohler prefers to stay with Al-Ahly despite the Saudi temptations
Swiss Marcel Kohler, Al-Ahly coach, ignores the Saudi offers he received in order to continue his coaching career with the Red Castle.
According to what the journalist Muhammad Al-Laithi said, Kohler refused All Gulf offers reached his agent, Dino Lamberti, preferring to stay with Al-Ahly.
He explained that Lamberti informed Kohler that there was more than one Saudi club that wanted to contract with him for an attractive financial reward that was 6 times more than what he got with Al-Ahly.
He added: “One of the Saudi offers amounted to one million and 200 thousand dollars a month, in addition to his assistant staff, but Kohler, who receives 220 thousand dollars a month with Al-Ahly, rejected these offers.”
Kohler informed his agent of his desire to remain with Al-Ahly club and continue its successes locally and in Africa in the new season, and that he does not want to leave.
