Flick: We missed Yamal, and the referee made a big mistake

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick appeared in press statements, following the loss (1-0) to Sociedad, in the thirteenth round of the Spanish league.

The coach said :"We were not in good condition today, and we made some bad decisions in the final third. Sociedad played hard and put pressure on us. It was not our day, and we did not create scoring chances.

He added: “Did the team miss Yamal? Any team will miss a player like Lamine Yamal, and as of now we do not know whether he will be ready after the break. We have to wait.”

Regarding his conversation with the referee after the break: “ Talk to him about Lewandowski's disallowed goal. They made a mistake by not disallowing the goal. We have to accept that. The referee should not be blamed because we are all human and make mistakes. Today was a big mistake."

He continued: “We started well, and we knew that they would put pressure on us, so we were playing short passes between the players, but with one long pass we gave them an opportunity to score.”

He concluded: “We are responsible for the defeat. We could have played better but we couldn't have possession of the ball well.
