Pharco Director: We hope to include Maaloul, but there are no official negotiations

Atef Hanafi, director of football at Pharco Club, revealed the fact that there is interest in contracting with Tunisian Ali Maaloul, the left back of Al-Ahly, as the winter transfer period approaches.

Hanafi said in his statements “Ali Maaloul is a great player, and his agent, John Edward, is a member of the board of directors of Pharco Club, and I spoke to him personally about playing for Pharco as just an idea.”

He continued: “We did not negotiate.” Officially with Maaloul, although we hope that this will happen because he is a great player and one of Al-Ahly’s leaders.”

Pharco’s manager touched on the team’s recent performance, where he said: “On The level of results we were hoping for was more than that, and we played a good match against Al-Ittihad, but a mistake cost us a loss.”

He concluded: “We played a strong match against the National Bank yesterday, but there was tension.” Because of the new league system, the match ended in a draw.”
