Details of Nike's new contract with Barcelona

The Spanish club Barcelona announced in an official statement, via its website, the renewal of its contract with the international company Nike.

The club said: “FC Barcelona is pleased Football and Nike, two leading brands in the sports industry, announce a fresh start through a multi-year cooperation agreement starting this season that will provide a new model for collaborative strategic partnership between the two organizations.

According to information received from the newspaper " Catalan Mundo Deportivo, the new contract between Barcelona and Nike is extended until 2038.

The source added that Barcelona will receive 1.7 billion euros throughout the contract, at 127 million euros annually.

The newspaper concluded that Barcelona will receive a signing bonus after renewal worth 11.28 million euros per season throughout the duration of the contract.
