Imposing a fine on Al Hilal Club
The Asian Football Confederation announced, this evening, Wednesday, that it had imposed a penalty on Al Hilal FC due to the events of the Al Rayyan Qatari match in the AFC Elite Champions League.
Al-Zaeem Al-Hilali defeated his Qatari opponent in the first round of the Asian competition at Al-Rayyan Club’s Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium.
The AFC imposed a financial penalty of $2,500 due to the players being late in arriving on the field for two minutes and 20 seconds.
Al-Hilal leads the Asian competition table with 12 points on goal difference from Al-Ahly, second in the standings.
