The match between Al Hilal and Iranian Esteghlal in the AFC Elite Champions League witnessed the injury of Brazilian Neymar da Silva, the team’s star, within just half an hour.
Al Hilal swept its guest Esteghlal 3-0 in the round. The fourth round of the Asian Championship and maintained the top spot in the standings.
Neymar participated as a substitute player for his colleague Abdullah Al-Hamdan in the second half in the 58th minute, but he was unable to play until the end of the match.
The “TNT” network reported that the player’s injury is not a cause for concern, as he suffered a strain in his thigh muscle and will undergo a rehabilitation program.
