Results of the draw for the World Cup qualifiers for Asia

he draw for the decisive Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup was held this morning, after 18 teams qualified for this round.

The first and second-place finishers from the three groups qualify directly for the World Cup (6 teams).

While the third- and fourth-place finishers from each group qualify for the fourth stage, which includes 6 teams distributed into two groups, and the first-place finisher qualifies directly for the World Cup.

As for the runners-up in the fourth stage, they will play two round-robin matches, and the winner of this round-trip stage will be in the global qualifying round for the World Cup.

Group A: North Korea, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Iran.

The second group: Kuwait, Palestine, Oman, Jordan, Iraq, South Korea.

Group Three: Indonesia, China, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Japan.
