Inzaghi: We wasted many opportunities, and we are preparing to face Arsenal

Inter Milan's technical director, Simone Inzaghi, revealed that his team will regain the services of one of its stars, before facing the English club Arsenal, in the Champions League competitions.

And he succeeded. Inter Milan achieved a difficult victory against Venice, yesterday, with a score of 1/0, in the eleventh round of the Italian League championship.

Inzaghi spoke about this match in statements to the channel “Dazen” and said: “We should have been more accurate, but to be honest, I congratulated the team, because the first half was excellent, and we wasted a lot of opportunities.”

He continued: "The match could have been easier for us if we had seized one of those opportunities. After the break and with the changes made by Venice, we lost our shape a little, and we started receiving chances as well. The only regret is that we did not kill the match."

He added: “We should have been more precise, because you cannot leave the match open, against a great team like Venice.”

He said about the return of the injured before facing Arsenal: “Hakan is back, and Acerbe will be available on Wednesday. Augusto is the only one injured.”
