The Brazilian club Fluminense announced, in an official statement via an account on the X platform, the termination of the contract of its player Marcelo.
He added: “Marcelo trained in the youth categories, and returned to Fluminense in 2023, after Share the win With the Campeonato Carioca 2023, Conmebol Libertadores 2023 and Recopa 2024 titles.
He continued: “The institutional and emotional ties between Fluminense and Marcelo continue to be maintained.” The athlete’s name was recently immortalized on the training center’s court.”
He concluded: “Thanks.” Fluminense Marcelo and will continue, as always, to support his success in all the challenges he faces.”
