Former Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag sent an emotional message to the Red Devils fans, after his recent dismissal from coaching the team.
Ten Hag said: “ Dear fans.”
He added: “I have always enjoyed meeting Manchester United fans around the world. Walking the streets and talking to fans in England, Europe, Asia, Australia and the United States – you have inspired me and made me feel powerfully united. This is what makes United fans so special.”
He added: “I would like to thank you for giving me this feeling and for your support. I would also like to thank the employees in all departments of the club for their continuous support in good and bad times.”
He continued: “We have won two cups, which are Two achievements that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Of course, my dream was to add more trophies to the team's wardrobe. But unfortunately, this dream has ended.”
He stressed: “I wish all Manchester United fans success, titles and glory.” Your support and the warmth I received from everyone at the club helped me feel at home.”
He concluded: “Thank you for this chapter in my life.”
