His father: Darry only needs a week's rest

Zuhair Dari, the father of Ashraf Dari, the Al-Ahly club player, responded to the news that linked his son to suffering from a chronic injury, which prevents him from participating mainly with the Red Giants.

He has Dari confirmed, this Friday evening, that his son needs to fully complete his rehabilitation program, in order to participate with Al-Ahly throughout the season.

Ashraf’s father explained, in his statements, that the ankle injury needed perhaps a little longer time than he received in order to fully and 100% recover.

He pointed out that the player only needs a week of rest without training in order to fully recover from the injury, and he can also play the Ceramica match in full tomorrow, Saturday.

He stressed that his son could have participated in Al-Ahly’s last match against Al-Ain, UAE, from the beginning, but Marcel Kohler, his team’s coach, preferred to allow him to participate in the matches gradually.

He noted that the player does not suffer from any chronic injury as rumored, and his injury requires sufficient rest in order to complete recovery, calling on Al-Ahly fans to be patient and support him.
