Al-Shahat: Al-Ahly is a champion across the borders of Africa

Hussein Al-Shahat, the star of Al-Ahly, expressed his great happiness in winning the Three Continent Cup “Africa, Asia and the Pacific” after defeating Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates by 3-0, yesterday, Tuesday.

Al-Ahly hosted its counterpart, Al-Ain, the Asian champion, at Cairo International Stadium, and Al-Ahmar achieved a deserved victory with a hat-trick signed by Wissam Abu Ali, Imam Ashour, and Mohamed Magdy Afsha.

Hussein Al-Shahat posted via His official account on the “X” social media platform: “A champion who crossed the borders of Africa, and there is still a dream in his heart.”

He continued: “Praise be to God always and forever. A new championship is added to the club’s history.” Al-Ahly and for a journey that I am proud of and for all of us, and for the history of football in the world, the first Tri-Continental Cup in the name of the club that deserves it.”
