Edouard Mendy will miss the Jeddah derby
Al-Ahly Saudi Club officially announced the injury of its goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
Al-Ahly said in a statement published on the “X” platform: “According to medical reports, Edouard Mendy’s injury to the thigh was confirmed.”
He added: “Mendy started his rehabilitation under Under the supervision of the Al-Ahly Club’s medical staff, to participate in group training as soon as possible.”
The player will miss facing Al-Ittihad in the ninth round of the Saudi League, which will be held next Thursday.
Abdel Rahman El Sanbi is expected to participate as a substitute for Mendy in the Al-Ittihad match.
