Mido warns Pioli about this matter
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, issued a warning to Stefano Pioli, the technical director of Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia.
Pioli did not include Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo in the last Eternity match, as the Italian coach preferred to rest Don in preparation for the upcoming matches.
Mido said on the “Dorina Gir” program ":"If I were in Pioli's place, and I wanted to rest Ronaldo, I would start the match with him and replace him after the 60th minute when the result was guaranteed.”
He added: “Ronaldo does not accept sitting on the bench or being excluded from matches. And this was his problem with (Erik) Ten Hag, his coach at Manchester United.”
He continued: "Ronaldo will not object if he plays and is substituted, because that will be better for him than not participating at all."
