Hossam Hassan agrees to return Emam Ashour to the Egyptian national team on conditions
Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, set 3 conditions for the return of Imam Ashour, the Al-Ahly club player, to the Pharaohs’ list during the coming period.
The journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed in his television program: “We contacted the technical staff of the Egyptian national team, to respond to the statement made by Imam Ashour, the Al-Ahly player, after the Egyptian Super Cup match. In front of Zamalek, last Thursday, by saying that he is Nigerian, not Egyptian.”
He continued: “The technical staff of the Egyptian national team refused to comment on Imam Ashour’s statement, stressing that the staff does not care about such statements and focuses on following up on all players to arrange for the camp for the two Cup matches.” Verdi and Botswana on the 15th and 19th of next November.”
He explained: “A source within the technical staff of the Egyptian national team confirmed to me that the level of Imam Ashour against Zamalek was not impressed by Hossam Hassan, who attended. The match was played by him and his staff from the stands of Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, and the technical staff believes that the player’s level is declining compared to the previous period and that his exclusion from the team is only technical, like any player.”
He concluded: “Hossam Hassan set conditions for Imam Ashour’s return to the Egyptian national team in the coming period, the most important of which is the development of his technical and physical level starting with the UAE match with Al Ain, appearing with his team in a distinguished manner in the league matches, and addressing the mistakes he committed technically and what the technical director in the Pharaohs camp asked of him in the last period. Because there is no crisis between the technical staff of the Egyptian national team and Imam Ashour, and the exclusion is technical, and the national team’s door is open.”
