Officially... Real Madrid announces the departure of Nacho

Real Madrid announced, in an official statement, the departure of veteran defender Nacho Fernandez this summer, after the expiration of his contract with the team.

The club said: “  Real Madrid announces Madrid Football Club said that our captain Nacho has decided to end his career as a Real Madrid player.

He added: “Real Madrid wants to express its gratitude and love for Nacho, one of the greatest legends of our club.”

Florentino Pérez said: “Since arriving at our youth academy as a child, Nacho has always been an example of improvement for everyone and has earned the love, appreciation and admiration of all Real Madrid fans.” Madrid was and will always be his home.”

The club concluded: “Real Madrid wishes him and his family good luck in this new phase of his life.”

Nacho is scheduled to join Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah on a two-year contract.
