The Spanish coach of Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Enrique, defended his technical decisions amid the criticism he faced in the French media.
Enrique said in a press conference Today before facing Marseille: “When the coach decides something, it is not based on a whim. Rather, there is a plan, and I am convinced of it. I see things that the press does not see. In the midfield, I have 5 players at the highest level, any of whom can participate as a starter.”
He continued: “I love all Portuguese players, even the bad ones. I’m joking of course, I don’t have a bad player here.”
He added: “ I am very impressed with Goncalo Ramos, but the solution never comes from one player, but rather the entire team must develop, and I am convinced of the team’s performance and I have many solutions for the outspoken striker.”
He continued sarcastically. : “I will not show the attackers my video clips, because they are in black and white and slow-motion.”
He concluded by praising his rival, Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbe: “His style is similar to mine. He is a coach.” Attacking, he left a distinct and clear imprint with his former team, Brighton, England.”
