The Emilia Romagna and Bologna regions suffered significant damage due to a wave of bad weather conditions, which led to the postponement of the match, according to what was published by the “Football Italia” website.
He added that the stadium on which the match will be held is located in one of the most important areas in the city, stressing that the match was postponed for safety reasons.
Bologna Mayor Matteo Lipori revealed The Milan-Bologna match will not be played on Saturday as scheduled, after the municipality issued an official statement canceling the match.
Reports also indicate that the first available date for the match will be held. It is December 18, which is the period in which the round of 16 matches of the Italian Cup will begin.
