Saudi press reports revealed that there are doubts about the presence of Brazilian Alexandre Gomez, Al-Ahly midfielder, in the team’s roster for the match between Al-Rayyan and Qatar.
Alexander participated in Al-Ahly’s training yesterday, Sunday, but the fate of his presence against Al Rayyan or not will be determined by German coach Matthias Jaisse, in consultation with the medical staff.
The Brazilian suffered from inflammation and roughness in the hip tendon, an injury that resulted in him missing Al-Ahly’s previous matches.
