Al-Khatib meets with Kohler after the Super Cup
The Al-Ahly club management, headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, has taken the decision to postpone sending participation in the third edition of the Professional Clubs League Cup championship in the 2025 season until obtaining the approval of coach Marcel Kohler.
Al-Ahly management does not want to participate in the League Cup due to time constraints, despite the demands of some within the club to participate in the tournament in order to give the opportunity to substitutes and juniors.
The Red management decided, Delay in resolving this matter officially until the file is discussed with Kohler in accordance with the team’s upcoming commitments, provided that Al-Khatib holds a session with the coach after the Egyptian Super Championship, to resolve the final position.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly apologized for participating in the previous two editions of the League Cup, and if it refuses to participate in the current edition, this will be the third apology.
