The Leverkusen star is recovering before facing Frankfurt

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz has succeeded in recovering from his ankle injury and joined the team’s squad in preparation for the match against Eintracht Frankfurt, which will be held tomorrow in the German League.

He stated: Leverkusen's Spanish coach, Xabi Alonso, told reporters today that Wirtz has recovered from the injury he suffered in his right ankle while participating with the German national team against the Dutch national team, which ended with Germany winning 1-0.

Alonso added, saying: “We will see tomorrow if he can do it, if he is fine, that is the most important thing,” referring to whether Wirtz will participate in the match or not.

He concluded his speech by commenting, “Frankfurt is going through a wonderful stage and is a good competitor. He is well aware of what happened against Holstein Kiel and does not want to repeat it again.”
