Press reports today revealed the duration of the absence of Moroccan international Yassine Bounou, Al Hilal goalkeeper, from the field due to the posterior muscle injury he suffered with his country’s national team during the qualifiers for the 2025 African Cup of Nations.
According to reports, Yassine Bounou will miss Al Hilal for two to three weeks due to a posterior muscle injury.
Reports indicated that a posterior muscle injury takes longer to recover than the rest of the leg muscles and requires a strengthening program before the injured person returns to training and matches.
The sources explained that Yassine Bono needs at least two weeks and a maximum of three weeks to recover from the posterior muscle injury.
Bono will miss Al Hilal’s matches against Al Fayhaa and Al Taawoun in the Saudi League, Al Ain in the UAE in the AFC Elite Champions League, and Al Tai in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup quarter-finals.
The sources confirmed that Bono is likely to return to protect Al-Zaeem’s den against Al-Nasr, in the Saudi League championship competitions, the first of next November.
