Pioli chooses Al-Ghanem’s replacement against Al-Shabab

Italian Stefano Pioli, coach of Al-Nasr, chose Sultan Al-Ghannam’s replacement during Al-Shabab’s match in the Riyadh derby.

Al-Ghanem’s absence from Al-Nasr’s match against Al-Shabab was confirmed, due to a tear in the left foot joint during his participation in the last match against Al-Orouba, within the league championship competitions.

Al-Ghannam’s return to the field is likely to be in the Iranian Independence match, scheduled for next Tuesday evening, in the third round of the AFC Elite Champions League.

Pioli chose Nawaf Bushel to replace Al-Ghanem during the Al-Shabab match, especially since the Al-Nasr team’s medical staff preferred not to risk involving the player.
