Iraqi national team coach Jesus Casas praised his team's performance against South Korea in the fourth round match of the 2026 Asian World Cup qualifiers, which It ended with Korea winning 3-2.
Casas said in the press conference after the match: “I thank all the players. They played a great match, and individual mistakes happen.”
The Spanish coach concluded his statements by noting that if Iraq wins over Jordan and Oman, this will guarantee his team a significant qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
The Iraqi national team is currently in second place in its group with 7 points, behind the leading South Korean national team with 10 points.
