Gomez insists on Awad as goalkeeper for Zamalek in the Super Cup match

Portuguese Jose Gomez, coach of Zamalek, insists that Mohamed Awad will continue to protect the team against Pyramids, in the Super Cup semi-final.

According to reports, Gomez informed Mohamed Sobhi that Mohamed Awad will be the team’s main goalkeeper against Pyramids, in the Egyptian Super Cup semi-final.

Reports indicated that Gomez believes that Mohamed Awad has the right to protect Zamalek’s team against Pyramids, after his brilliance in the match with Al-Ahly, last September 27, in the African Super Cup.

The sources explained that Mohamed Sobhi understands the coach’s decision and is training well in training, adding that Gomez will follow a specific policy among Zamalek’s guards when the Egyptian League begins.
