Walid Regragui said that he regrets the loss of achieving a historic result against the Central African national team in yesterday's match.
The Moroccan national team defeated its Central African national team 4-0 yesterday evening, Tuesday, in a match in the fourth round of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Regragui said to Al-Riyadiah channel after the match: “As I said before, I wish we had achieved a historic result, but we did not enter the match as we should have.”
He continued: “We were late in entering The match lasted for half an hour. Ben Al-Saghir and Al-Zalzouli were outstanding, and the entry of Belgian and Al-Sahrawi for the first time made me very happy.”
He continued: “I had a desire to push Ait Boudlal, but circumstances caused the decision to be delayed. However, the victory and strengthening the lead with an important goal difference, and we are the strongest attack in the qualifiers, makes me happy.”
Regraki continued: “We will rest and evaluate what happened in the camp, as well as evaluating those who succeeded and those who were late in presenting themselves.”
