Mohamed Abu El-Ela, the Egyptian national team doctor, revealed the nature of the injury suffered by the duo, Mohamed El-Shenawy and Khaled Sobhi, during the confrontation with Mauritania, yesterday, in the fourth round of the African qualifiers for the 2025 Cup of Nations.

Abu El-Ela said, in press statements, Mohamed El-Shenawy's injury is a cut in the eyebrow.
While Abu El-Ela said that Khaled Sobhi suffers from a tear in his leg muscles.
