The Egyptian national team, led by technical director Hossam Hassan, was able to achieve a historic record for the first time in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
This came after the victory over Mauritania, in the fourth round of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, with a clean goal, on Tuesday evening.
Hossam Hassan led the Pharaohs to victory in the first 4 consecutive matches in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, and this did not happen with any other coach in the history of the Egyptian national team.
Ibrahim Adel scored the only goal of the match in the 85th minute, created by Mahmoud Trezeguet.
