Ahmed Hassan said on Facebook: “Private... Gomez renews his request to the Zamalek administration to contract with Ejaria again.”
Zamalek wanted to test the player for 10 days before completing the deal to include him, but he refused and wanted to sign the contracts to join the white team within 48 hours, so the club decided to thank him.
The Zamalek team will face its counterpart, the Pyramids team, in the Egyptian Super Cup next Sunday in the Emirates.
