Tottenham closes the way to Real Madrid
One of the reports revealed the position of the English club Tottenham regarding the reported interest of the Spanish club Real Madrid in the team’s players Cristian Romero (centre-back) and Pedro Boro (right-back)
Some previous reports indicated that the Spanish club wanted to strengthen its defense line and, accordingly, it was placing the English club’s centre-back and right-back among its priorities in the upcoming transfer period.
The British newspaper "Mirror" made it clear that Tottenham is not considering selling any of the players, as they participated in all the English Premier League matches during this season.
The newspaper confirmed that there are no players. A clause in the English club's right-back's contract facilitates the player's departure, as his contract extends to 2027 and there is no intention to sell him by his current club.
Royal Club coach Carlo Ancelotti seeks to strengthen The right side of the team, where Tottenham star Boro is on his wish list.
Also, English team defender Christian Romero has become a key card for the Tottenham coach, and therefore he will face the club. Real Madrid is having difficulty signing the player, especially since his contract expires in 2028.
