Former Zamalek star Farouk Gaafar praised the performance of Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet in the Egyptian team's match against its Mauritanian counterpart.
The match between the Egyptian and Mauritanian teams in the third round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers ended with the Pharaohs winning 2-0.
Farouk Jaafar said via a channel "On Time Sports": "There is something called an international defect and a local defect. Trezeguet is a more international player."
He added: “For 3 days he has been playing With Al Rayyan, his performance is completely different, but with the national team, he is a player who creates a difference, creates chances, and scores. Trezeguet, who has been there for 3 or 4 years, is a great addition to the national team.”
